The other thread is nearly full so here is a new one. The way things are going Naughty Boy seems trapped in a never ending cycle of trials - the public seem to be taking delight in his discomfort. He seems a bit immature and vulnerable - I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable about the way things are going for him.

David Ginola is very suave and charming - a real silver fox! ☺ Arlene is bearing up well. Matty seems a bit invisible. Adam and Simon are quite entertaining and come across as nice blokes. Frankie is a bit annoying.

The trial tomorrow seems to involve drinking foul concoctions - I think it will be a bit revolting. I'm glad they no longer seem to be doing trials involving eating live insects, that always seemed really barbaric to me.

I love the way Ant and Dec take the pi** out of the contestants and also take time to fit in some humourous swipes at our PM - I love their silly humour, they make the programme doubly watchable.

I don’t understand the hate on here for Frankie 🤔 she is coming across as a kind, friendly person, she has had her personality and her appearance ripped to shreds on here, why? Although it’s the same every year, one female gets singled out and piled on by posters.

I think it’s because it seems unfair one person gets pushed as a winner. From the start the camera has focussed on her and 90% of the ‘diary room’ eateries have been Frankie. She’s also being pushed on social media and her husband and even sister (who isn’t famous) have been on Loose Women, not know any of the other women like Snoochie, Louise or Karen’s to have been promoted as much on Loose Women. It’s clear IT have an Venda maybe she’s going to be a Loose Women presenter or something but it’s just weird.

For me it’s not about Frankie personally, I actually don’t mind her, but I really don’t like being manipulated into voting for someone and others probably feel the same too.

Yes although I don't know know anyone having a mental health crisis that could have popped to Iceland to do a concert first. When she said she needed hospitalisation I think she actually meant her dh had booked her in to a private clinic. Good luck to her but this speaking out about mh when they have private care at their fingertips isn't very representative is it.

I dont hate Frankie, she seems harmless enough, but I don't feel she stood out from the rest in terms of personality, kindness, contributing to the tasks or camps.
However part of me is a bit well typical that the stereotypical "prettiest" woman has got this far....but then again, there is a lot of love for David, who, apart from knowing how to cook octopus, also hasn't contributed an awful lot either.(apart from looking good)

I don't hate her. I haven't criticised her appearance. I just find her a tad one dimensional and not very interesting. Certainly not hate, I don't know her!

Oh definitely likeable Janiie
He certainly knows his attraction and plays on it! I've seen more of his bare chest than any other man in there. Although Simon had the guts to pose next to him, that was hilarious!

I’m actually starting to find Simon more attractive. I think it’s his humour and laid back attitude. Also he seems to have no airs and graces.

And Simon has a good line in gurning. He does it lots as Steve McDonald !

Gary Speed was on TV a day or two before he took his own life and apparently acting as normal. There are many similar stories of people just carrying as normal until one day - they can't.

Yes I expect Frankie went to a private clinic and agree that sadly not everyone has that choice.

I also don't hate Frankie. I find the way she's been edited over and above every other campmate a little irritating that's all. She's had the most air time yet has done very little.

Her talk about mental health was good, and I can see how that would help people. Absolutely no problem with them showing that. In fact they should be showing far more of that, from everyone.

Oh absolutely, of course people hide their problems. My point was in this case she said her hcps had said she needed support in a private facility so once that has been decided and a plan in place it would seem odd to do a concert first imo.

I want Simon to win. I like him and, for me, he is far more attractive than David. I don't get the David love to be honest. He is quite smarmy and very big headed. I have never thought he was attractive.

I really do not want Frankie to win. She doesn't even deserve to be in the final. The cameraman or men must be in love with her. She is always on screen plus it's her voice you can hear over the others so many times.

I liked her when she did Strictly but now I see her as a boring talentless woman

I agree. It was essentially ‘woman, know your place’

Frankie didn't do a concert, she shot a video in Iceland. I think she's nice and I prefer her to last years' winner!

This. I get fed up with interesting women getting picked off from these types of shows and leaving the bubbly, inoffensive. conventionally pretty one behind.

I just demonstrates that the world will tolerate only one type of woman.

But agree we shouldn’t take it out on Frankie even if her voice is grating.

When Frankie was talking about her mental health problems I was comparing it to an interview I heard in the week on the radio showing the grim realities of serious lack of services if you can't afford to go private.
There's just no comparison with her and everyday folk.
She did caveat with her good fortune in being able to afford treatment.

Yes definitely no Frankie hate from me. I’m sad her management sent her off to Iceland for a bloody music video if she was so mentally unwell. I loved her in strictly and initially wanted her to win that but Caroline Flack was outstanding and really deserved the win.

I don’t want her to win this because I don’t find her as interesting as others. I really liked all the women this year and I’m sad all of them didn’t make it further.

I do like Simon though. I think he’s kind, funny and chilled out. We haven’t seen cattiness from him like the others. He isn’t coming across any lazier than any of the others. Adam seemed to be the only one ever doing chores.

I’d quite like my final two to be Danny and Simon.

My faves never win though, the past few years people I didn’t really find interesting to watch won.

Simon is the winner for me he’s not been involved in any conflicts and just got on with it. He’s come across as a really nice guy.

Yes. And I bet Simon is no different than what we see. A sort of what you see is what you get type person.
