The other thread is nearly full so here is a new one. The way things are going Naughty Boy seems trapped in a never ending cycle of trials - the public seem to be taking delight in his discomfort. He seems a bit immature and vulnerable - I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable about the way things are going for him.

David Ginola is very suave and charming - a real silver fox! ☺ Arlene is bearing up well. Matty seems a bit invisible. Adam and Simon are quite entertaining and come across as nice blokes. Frankie is a bit annoying.

The trial tomorrow seems to involve drinking foul concoctions - I think it will be a bit revolting. I'm glad they no longer seem to be doing trials involving eating live insects, that always seemed really barbaric to me.

I love the way Ant and Dec take the pi** out of the contestants and also take time to fit in some humourous swipes at our PM - I love their silly humour, they make the programme doubly watchable.

Total blows Kadeena going after putting up with so much and getting on with it.

I really liked Kadeena as well, I would have liked her to win.

I hope NB goes...

We've not really got to know any of them have we? Remember past episodes in Oz when we've really found out stuff about people.. it was the same not much going on last year!

I was thinking that, especially about Marina Navratilova talking about her life and career. Richard going early didn't help but Louise should have been able to coax out stories.

I dont think they should ever get letters from home. It's just filler for tv.
If the programme was entertaining all this rubbish wouldn't be needed.

Frankie reminds me of a poorer version of Jacqueline Jossa (or whatever her name is),she just lacks the spark Jacqueline had. I do like Frankie though and she looks like she's having a good time. Out of all the girls I liked kedeena the most as she was so genuine.

I just find it cringy. I'm sure a lot of actors/sportspeople have to work away from home as part of their jobs so this feels manipulative to me.

I'm also so board of the trials...I think the programme keeps going as there will be adults watching it now or teenagers that were not even born when it first started or they were small children. The trials to this age group are novelty.

I really enjoyed the castle last year but have to admit, it does feel pretty boring and dull this year. Richard was a big loss. There just doesn't seem to be much happening. The storm break obviously didn't help. NB rather unlikeable (though my first impression of him was great!). David is very funny, and I'm enjoying Simon and Adam

So yes, bring on the return to the actual jungle. Better trials there, for sure. They're very limited as to what they can do in the castle, it seems.

I feel the same. It feels like they're just waiting for the final and there's no sense of what they get up to outside of the trials and the cooking. I'm looking forward to the cyclone though.

It did surprise me that DG got so emotional over a letter that wasn't even his, but I rather like him for it. He is normally very calm and cool, but we've recently seen him get stroppy and burst into tears - perhaps he's going through the male menopause! (Mind you, I think NB was wrong to say what he did, and he is annoying.)
