Christmas TV series for kids?

Can anyone recommend something I can watch with my 9 yr old, Christmas themed, but only half an hour each episode? I often say we'll watch half an hour of a film before bedtime but it always drags on because there's never a good place to take a break.

All suggestions welcome, thank you

I can’t think of many that of specifically Christmassy.
Dr Who or Merlin maybe
I’d love to watch the Box of Delights with my DS9 but it doesn’t seem to be on iplayer.

I'm struggling to think of anything.. following for ideas though!

I was thinking back to Sunday afternoon TV shows when I was a kid, I'm sure there was a Narnia type thing at one time, and something about a boy who played with ghost children, I don't think that was wintery though. Maybe I just watched it in the winter.

Not really Christmas themed, but there's a new series of Malory Towers. My 8&10yos are loving it.

Not a series a film but just had to say watch a boy called Christmas, it’s new out on sky/now tv and is really good!

Robin Robin is on Netflix, it's the newest Aardman Animations film but is only 30 minutes long, we all loved it.
Other than that, I don't know any themed series but would Snowman, Snowman and Snow Dog, Father Christmas cartoons be ant good? All about 30 minutes, you might have to search online though because they are usually only on tv at Christmas

Not Christmassy, but I'd say the new adaptation of Wurzel Gummidge fits this kind of Sunday afternoon bill.

I'd also second Mallory Towers.

I think The Box of Delights is on YouTube although your DC might find the special effects "quaint"! It was my favourite when I was little.

Box of Delights is on Britbox
