What is this Netflix series?

DH and I watched a series on Netflix last year and I can't for the life of me think what it was!

It was set in a high school in the 80s and it was about a teenager girl with kinetic powers. In the last episode spoiler she exploded her bully's head and then it ended.

It wasn't Stranger Things and it wasn't Carrie although it was similar to both.

What was it and was there a second series?

I really enjoyed it and its bugging me I can't remember!

The girl with all the gifts? The book is also very good!

Yes I remember it. I think it WAS I Am Not OK With This. Her mum (or dad?) had killed themselves I think?

It definitely was that. If you Read the episode synopsis on Wikipedia, it mentions the blowing up of the head.
