What to watch next? All our current series have finished!

Everything seems to have finished at the same time. We have been watching:
GBBO
Taskmaster
Murder Island
Prodigal Son (finished a while ago but we're a bit slow!)
Dalgleish

We also enjoyed previously:
The Rookie
Manifest
Hunted
Life on Mars
Castle

Didn't enjoy:

Handmaids Tale (watched first series but just found it too harrowing to sleep afterwards!)
White Lotus- I think the hipster nature of it isn't for us, we aren't cool enough

I like True Crime but DH not keen. He is into politics and has seen West Wing, Impeachment series that's on at the moment.

What could we watch next? We have sky and catch up tv, also have Disney Plus but we don't have Netflix.

The Newsroom is on Sky, that might appeal to your DH who liked West wing/politics

Departure is on Sky and quite good

Dopesick is good on Disney+

Yes - Dopesick is very good!

Big Sky on Disney is not quite so good but not at all bad.

Succession is great, that's on sky. Also recently watched the west wing on more 4 which is really old but really good. Currently watching Friday night lights on sky and enjoying that too

Succession is flipping brilliant. Hands down one of the best things on TV in recent years. 3rd series is nearly finished.

The Americans on Disney plus, started watching after recommended so many times on here, is great!

I absolutely fell in love with The Queen's Gambit. It got me into chess too!

Oh and it's not at all boring like a TV series about chess may sound haha

Queens Gambit was fantastic

Nothing to suggest but so glad you mentioned Hunted, it’s the most underrated show there is! I just LOVE the drama (although it gets more set up every series but I like to kid on to myself it’s not).

Designated Survivor, I`ve been waiting for the next season for what seems like ages!!!

Just started Reservation Dogs which is excellent. As is The Queen's Gambit already mentioned.

BBC iPlayer Ghosts is brilliant.

Channel 4 quirky comedy 'Stath lets flats' is very amusing.

Designated Survivor, I`ve been waiting for the next season for what seems like ages!!!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it was cancelled

Showtrial bbc, was v well acted. A trial but following the defendants and their teams. Only 5 episodes

State Lets Flats, one of the funniest series I've seen

Designated Survivor is still worth watching even with it's cancellation. The Good Place would have to rate as one of the best things I've watched this year.

Another suggestion for The Americans really good.

We're also watching bones on disney plus. Even though it's murder, on the whole it's a nice easy watch.
