I don't normally like to admit defeat, but I've given up too.

It's a tired format now

We were watching the electric car challenge and we were infuriated by it. The 'range anxiety' challenge was just pointless.

Let's race the cars and camp somewhere stupid. As if most campsites don't have electricity points for caravans, so charging wouldn't be an issue.

We were waiting for the inevitable 'drive before you run out of charge' bit.

I didn't know Jeremy, Richard and James were Mumsnet posters! Bit grumpy at Top Gears successful new trio I guess eh lads?

I think Top Gear has found a good new dynamic with Paddy, Freddy and Chris. The series have done pretty well considering they have been filmed during lockdown. Far better than the Grand Tour in comparison.

The last episode did suffer from Freddy not be being there, but the gorgeous Icelandic scenery made it worthwhile.

I do really enjoy the trio, they genuinely do work really well together and are entertaining to watch.

My gripe was just at the electric car challenge as they always do the range anxiety. They wouldn't do 'drive till you run out of petrol/diesel' challenges.

Yes we could see that one coming with the electric cars.

It must be tricky though coming up with challenges during covid times. The first episode with the F1 drivers was great but they must be struggling for ideas a bit now.
