Irvine Welsh's Crime (TW)

Had anyone watched this on Britbox? It's only six episodes long and I have binge watched them all (currently watching the last one) tonight. I have had to have subtitles on for some of the Scottish accents though.

Just to warn anyone who thinks about watching it. The main policeman who, as always, is troubled, investigates a child abduction and is obsessed about a child rapist and murderer. It's very gritty, lots of swearing, sex scenes (although one with swingers in did make me laugh a bit) and drug use.

Started yesterday but had to stop as I can hardly understand the accent, in fact sounds like another language to me (besides English is my second language) too much effort trying to understand- as much as I would have liked to watch but can't be asked

I watched about 3 episodes. I thought it was absolute garbage. The cliches. The over the top Scottishness of it. Can just imagine the director going ‘again but more Scottish. Again. Again but throw a random ‘disnae’ in. God. What absolute bloody bilge. I had resubbed to watch it and was so disappointed.

I think the over the top signposting of woman's rights annoying. It's too in your face. Feels like a crappy day time drama but with too much swearing and sex!
