Masterchef Pros current season - what was that drink?

Help me out please MasterChef fans...there was an episode fairly early on (about 5 / 6) in the current season where a chef made a meal with a drink called Arak or Arrack...he said it was "very expensive".

I can't give more detail as I didn't see myself, my small child has relayed this to me and wants to get it as a gift for their father!

If anyone can help I'd be very appreciative as Google tells me there are a few different drinks with very similar names so I want to be sure which it was.

I'm pretty sure that it wasn't Araq (which is a Middle Eastern aniseed flavour) but it was Arrack from, I think, Sri Lanka. I remember looking it up at the time because I assumed it was for former but couldn't see how the flavours worked and didn't associate it with the type of cuisine the chef was cooking.

Thank you @mynameiscalypso so was it a coconutty flavour rather than an aniseedy one? I'm assuming it was the Sri Lankan chef who used it in his menu?

I think so. I'm 99% sure it was the Sri Lankan chef (we've caught up on a lot of episodes this week so they have started to blur into one!)
