I have never really been massively impressed with Parky- could never see what all the fuss was about.

Same here, tiredemma - particularly in the last few years. He could be a rather unpleasant person imo.

But he could attract some big names in his heyday

Kerryk you could be right - the programme is called the "Final Conversation" but I've just found a bit of blurb that says it's te "penultimate" show ????
