I don’t get the hype personally. There is something so fake about her now, and that excessive saff London accent.
I feel the same, she has clearly had a massive style makeover and hardly looks like the same person, but somehow wants to come across as down to earth in a 'Still Jenny from the Block' way (JLo song). I'm unsure whether she knew in advance about her old teacher turning up, but her reaction didn't ring true to me.
I saw her perform live about 10 years back, and she was so natural and raw, it was refreshing. She was casually dressed in jeans and a black top, and her glossy brown hair was tied into a pony tail which hung over one shoulder - I thought she looked lovely. I think she has gone from one extreme to the other, from a natural look to an artificial, overdone image, but it would be nice if she could find a middle ground. Anyway, whichever style she chooses, there's no denying her talent.
