I liked it. But only because she threw herself into it. Could see that on stage.

As a stage performance, I enjoyed it. However, not much dancing content.

It was very stompy. I've not seen the musical Matilda so it was hard to say if they've captured the mood of it or not

I watched it the whole way through thinking, "do I like this or don't I?" couldn't make up my mind. Yes, it was clunky but it was supposed to be. On many levels, it was really, really good but it sort of punched me a bit hard in my Covid jab arm and left me unsure what on earth I thought about it. Good? Bad? Indifferent? Definitely good but did I like it? I don't know.
