ANyone else think Tanya's labour was totally unrealistic? Waters break and within seconds she's in full blown labour doing deep breathing etc??!! (or maybe they are all like that- apart from mine

And I know it's EE but does it really HAVE to be so depressing? Poor Billy [aww]

(have never actually felt strongly enough about TV to start a thread but grrr)

it was very quick- buth then tv labours often are...i feel so sorry for Billy and Honey- i know it is expecting too much to want a happy Christmas for them, but just for once, EE writers...please....

Raahh · 14/12/2007 19:18

my last labour lasted 36 hours- followed swiftly by a c-section...so i am very jealous....

AwayInAMunker · 14/12/2007 19:18

Was there any more about breastfeeding in it?

goingfor3christmaspuddings · 14/12/2007 19:19

SHe didn't even have a break between contractions it was waters popping and then a huge continuos contraction, very funny!

Haylstones · 14/12/2007 19:20

No HUnker there hasn't been anythign since Ian#s rant then Billy being all supportive and sweet while having a go at Peggy for not stopping him. Will be interesting to see how Tanya approaches it

most things in eastenders are unrealistic (not sure why i bother really as i complain about it when watching it). however after my waters broke i did go into real labour, 1 min contractions, and very quickly 3 mins apart. 45 mins after waters breaking i was 8 cm dilated so it does happen sometimes.

the billy/honey stroyline is so ridiculous - they would at least get emergency housing if they were going to be made homeless with 2 kids.

choufleur · 14/12/2007 19:22

i didnt mean that i thought tanya's labour was very realistic just that it can happen quickly btw

Is anyone else finding the Max- Phil- Jack- Club storyline incredibly dull and pointless?

In fact the whole Club storyline has been done to death. Almost turned it off last night and will stop watching altogether if it doesn't get more interesting.

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 14/12/2007 19:29

She gives birth into max's hands tonight, so anyone looking for a home birth should check it out just incase the midwife can't get there!!
