SquonkaClaus · 14/12/2007 17:23

LOL,
no it's a PTA fund-raising jobbo, Father Christmas included too! DDs had a great time!

SquonkaClaus · 14/12/2007 20:27

as long as they enjoyed themselves

OP posts:
ruddynorah · 14/12/2007 20:29

which one was it?

SquonkaClaus · 14/12/2007 20:32

Swansea - a very curmudgeonly bloke called Ernest who told everyone exactly what he thought of their cooking, David who flushed a load down the loo, an upper class air hostess, an ageing hippy and a lady who was addicted to chocolate.

The hippy woman and the trolley dolley were in joint first place and the chocolate woman MIGHT have beaten them.

I pressed record on the dvd machine but due to being a complete twonk with electrical equipment, it didn't work

david the royalist? the hippy who dd the moroccan sit on the floor meal? and the chocolate woman opera singer?

SquonkaClaus · 14/12/2007 20:35

nope.

David the ever so formal diner, hippy social worker woman - vegetarian and chocolate woman owned a load of arcades I think.

Do you mean the opera singer who kept going LA DI DAAAAAAA at random moments? I remember her

ruddynorah · 14/12/2007 20:37

no don't remember that one...am racking my brains, i do love come dine with me.

hang on...the chocolate woman who did them all a chocolate gift to take away? and had a bedsheet for a tablecloth??

PestohohohoMonster · 14/12/2007 20:44

Panto was Frosty the Snowman. Dds loved it, can't bloody well set the alarm clocks Father Crhiistmas gave them thought. Think they;re goonena be woken up hourly with an alarm from now on.... GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrQ!!!

SquonkaClaus · 14/12/2007 20:53

don't think she had a bedsheet for a tablecloth - and I had to go to nursery before the end of her dinner party so don't know about the chocolate presents.

I suppose I'll just have to wait till it's repeated on More4

pesto - put them in the shed till christmas eve

this one?

morgansauntie · 14/12/2007 22:20

I really like this programme and I had seen this one when it was first shown but could not remember who won, you can find out most things on Digital Spy so it was a tie between Karen (Air Hostess) and Sue (social worker?).

I'm rather bored and like a challenge but after all this I hope I have got the right one

SquonkaClaus · 15/12/2007 09:41

it was this one but I can't find anywhere where it says who won.

Oh well! Will have to tell dp to fix the dvd player before next week

My previous post did answer the question, perhaps you didn't read it, it was a tie between Sue and Karen.

SquonkaClaus · 15/12/2007 14:00

OMG so sorry, morgansauntie, I didn't see your post at all - I clicked on ruddynorah's link then replied to her and didn't even notice that anyone had posted after her!

So sorry

I feel ever so rude now

Ignoring you was not intended at all.

Anyway, to reply to your post...

Thank you for settling that for me - they were tying from the previous day and chocolate woman (Heather) could have beaten them, but obviously she didn't.

Dd2 and I love this programme and we watch it on More4 on a Sunday afternoon - the problem is that she expects me to serve her stuffed courgettes and home made chocolate soufflee and things like that! (she's 3 )

Anyway, sorry I ignored you completely, I promise it was a complete accident.

And thank you for coming back on the thread to make sure I knew the answer to my question.

Squnokaclaus Thank you so very much for your apology, I didn't take it personally I know how busy things can be when you have children and how precious time is, in fact your apology has really cheered me up and restored my faith in human nature - having had a really really rubbish day, families who would have them (parents and grandparents) so once again thank you and don't feel bad about it.
