What happened lkast week after the lad had a fit with no shirt on in the postmans house and the paramedic called the police?

and also what happened last night after the guy was taking pills off the matel piece whilst talking to the mother of the baby?

I got up to the part where the police man walked passed the window and she was crying 'my babys dead'

Thanks

Last week the guy got out of the house before the plice arrived and went and made amends. He told his mate that it was him that nicked the post adn i think he saw his lads too. He went home and took the police into his house and showed them all the post and he ended up in jail. He also contacted the girl with the stammer and they wrote to each other.

Can't think whwere abouts you were for last nights. Was the mother at his door talking to him about what happened?

KittyLetteItSnow · 14/12/2007 13:19

yea, she was looking through the door and said something like ...

'im going to tell you something soon that will make you not want to kill yourself but first you have to know you put me through hell, theres no fear like the fear of a mother for a child in danger'

then DS woke up

It was something about having killed the grandma (her mother?) and being frightened and burying the baby - but the baby was alive & the baby dies

& he did it when he was 10

But I found it confusing and upsetting

He explained to her what had happened. His dad had hit his Mum and left and his Mum was very sad. he loved her and wanted to cheer her up so went to a neighbours house and broke in to steal a musical box. He thought they were away but the neighbiurs mother came in and found him with the box. He pushed past her to get away and she fell back onto the open dishwasher drawer and ended up with a knife stright through her. He panicked and left.

The next day he went back and she was dead. She had crawled all the way to the door so there was blood everywhere and he didn't know what to do so he just stayed with her and gave her cats milk. After a few hours he heard a baby crying and realised that the abay was in the house and not away with its parents. He went upstairs to look at it but didn't do anything becuase then people would know he had killed its granmother and this would make his mum sad.

When he went up later I think he thought the abay was dead and he buried it. He buried it becuase thats what good people do - bad people leave bodies unburied.

In the meantime the mum and dad had started to panic when they couldn't get hold of the grandma and asked a neighbour to check. they then raced home when the neighbour told them that the grandma was dead and the baby missing.

As Katymac says - the babay was still alive when he buried it so he was done for murder and put away.

He told the mother all this through the door and she told him she forgave him and told him that he owed her and that what he had to promise to do was fall in love and have a baby and bring it up the best he could.

The last scene was him getting back together with the girl from the beginning and the very last scene was them pushing a baby on a swing and all looking happy.

Sobbed my way through a box of tissues at last nights. Have loved the series but actually chose not to watch last week because I really didn't to get emotional! I think the acting has been very good.

It is an amazing series and I'm loving it but I wasn't so keen last night.I can't put my finger on why but I just didn't engage with it so much.
It was quite disjointed and confusing I thought.

Loved the last few though - the breast cancer storyline was so well done. Postie last week very endearing character.

The characterisations are superb.

Thankyou

I hate watching something then missing the ending!

i relaly enjoyed last series,
last night's episode made me cry but last week and last night's endings were too good.
i have a feel they are now using different writers, they tend to with second series so it is less bitter sweet.
i could be wrong of course
