Have got into this programme more lately & it’s such a lovely programme. I love hearing the history of each precious item & I often cry when the owners see the finished product. Jay Blades & the other crafters seem so warm & compassionate. Also love Bill Paterson’s commentary ( think that’s what he’s called!)

I do love the programme although sometimes I feel they make the items ‘too new’ again and take away some of the character but they have done some amazing things.

There was one episode though that haunts me. The metal work guy drilled a hole and fitted a pole through the body of an small (toddler size) carousel horse when it didn’t have one originally. The poor woman’s face when she came to pick it up. She did the typical British thing of pretending everything was marvellous but there was a split second at the reveal when she looked horrified. Poor woman.

Will is talented beyond belief for such a young guy.

Steve and Suzie being siblings though, put a wig on him and they would be identical!

I love love love The Repair Shop. One of the few reality programmes that I watch. The repairers are so talented and I'm always in awe of their work. ❤️

Is this a new series..or still repeats? I loved it at the start, but got a bit fed up with the focus switching more to the emotional stories and less time for showing the skills/process plus I am fed up with going “great repair shop is back” only to find it’s a repeat🤷🏼‍♀️

Also love this and the stories. I remember the carousel horse and can’t understand why they did it, they are usually so careful to restore sympathetically I’d have been horrified too!

My parents love it. I can't stand all the crying and emotions!

Aw my Uncle was on it with an old kids toy car they repaired it back to its original glory. My hubby remembered playing with it when he was younger lovely!
