Am I it's sole viewer? I semi-liked the first series but am hooked on this S2. It's witty. It's massively confusing, I've had to watch episodes 1 and 2 twice to untangle a coherent tale but it's very entertaining.

I'm currently watching series 2, loved series 1. I've never heard it mentioned anywhere and could easily have missed it if I hadn't been trawling through i-player's offerings. I think I gave it a go because Mark Bonnar is in it. It's a real hidden gem, quite a dark comedy and I agree it's very entertaining.

I too developed a huge crush on him but he doesn't appear to be in series 2 Sad. I watched ep2 last night and am also mightily confused. I doesn't help that I can only vaguely remember what happened in series 1 (although DH, who watch series 1 last week for the first time, tells me I don't need to remember really)

It’s wonderful isn’t it? Watched series 2, then 1, now searching 2 as I’ve persuaded DH to watch it. Love the music, it’s also very funny.
Someone on the other thread referred to unnecessary sex or sexual tension (?) but I thought it was incredibly well portrayed.

We watched series one and enjoyed it but series 2 is just too confusing. Too many flashbacks that aren't clearly flashbacks, I can't keep track of who knows what, and who is lying to who, although, we watched episode 3 this week (BBC Scotland) and I did start to enjoy it towards the end. I think I maybe need to go back and watch it again from the start. I am struggling to take Gary Tank Commander seriously though Grin
