but she comes from a very wealthy family so the cps tread lightly

I liked Talitha's obviously unlikeability. Ditto her father and in fact all the rich people.

I also appreciate the fact that although there's a young female victim we didn't see any shots of the body. V much hope we don't in later episodes.

Yes the hint was enough

We didn’t need to see as such

T does seem a little strange. La la la over ears

Wonder why she doesn’t want her dads help so much

Shockingly sloppy at the police station. Custody sergeant not logging Talitha's personal items or getting her to sign them over, and the. longingly fingering The (unlogged) Bracelet. Chain of custody ring any bells ??? Interviewing police officers leaving the suspect in the interview room without removing the part recorded tape; people not identifying themselves orally on the tape as being present at the interview. Solicitor advocates (Cleo) don't wear wigs and hobnobbing with your CPS counterpart in a case on which you're both instructed is professional suicide and completely unethical. AAAARGH It would take so little effort to get it right even if it is 'only' drama.

Solicitor advocates have been able to wear wigs since 2008:

Finished! I’ve started a binge thread here

I watched it this morning.
Strong first episode, I know nothing about chain of evidence or wigs, but I thought that the green scarf would be significant

Report
Blondeshavemorefun · 04/11/2021 14:53

Yes the green scarf could be the murder weapon

Or be a —green— red herring

On episode 4 and loving this.
Does anyone else think Cleo deserves a whole new series? Great character and real charisma.

Am I the only person who is unable to understand a word James (the CPS guy) says? I don't know if it's mumbling, or the strong accent, or both, but he may as well be speaking Mongolian for all I can understand. I've had to switch on subtitles just for him.

shrugitoff · 05/11/2021 20:46

Is James from Northern Ireland ?
I've no problem Smile

People mumble

Really enjoying this, a definite step up on the recent crappy dramas.

I enjoyed the first episode. Agree Talitha is horrible and I would quite like to see her locked up even if she is innocent.

MPs son also looks dodgy.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2021 00:08

So do we think she is innocent

I think yes
