The new buzz light year film!

So I'm probably a little bit late to the party on this one, but I can't believe that Tim Allen has been replaced! Does anyone know the reasoning behind this? Is the character buzz light-year supposed to be a different version of the one from the Toy Story films? I've always been a big Tim Allen fan, politics aside, because the Santa Clause movie has been a lifelong favourite film of mine as has Toy Story, ha ha, I am just gutted to hear that he's been replaced!

This is about the 'real life' astronaut that the toy is meant to be I believe, so not the same character

I was just outraged when I saw Tim Allen wasn't in it! I wonder if he does any sort of cameo?

I still hope there is a toy story 5 where wordy is reunited with Andy.... my emotional attachment to that film is just too much 😂😂😂

The trailer looks really good, looking forward to watching it once it’s out.

I felt the same until I learnt it was about the 'real' character, not the toy.

Have you seen Last Man Standing? Tim Allen is the main character and it's a great show.
