Calling Grand Designs experts

So, DD(11) is currently interested in house designs and architecture. She has autism and this is her current special interest. We watched a recent Grand Designs last night and she really enjoyed it. (The one with the natural pond leading from the kitchen)

We have been watching it for years but can't think which ones would be good to watch next. Nothing with anyone dying would be good as she is super sensitive.

So, which episodes were your favourites? (If you can provide the series and episode numbers, you get bonus points)

Thanks!

I'm definitely not an expert, but this list looks useful: www.granddesignsmagazine.com/grand-designs-houses/best-grand-designs-episodes-to-watch/

Thanks! That folly one really annoyed me because it was so ridiculously small and impractical! The cave one was amazing!

One of my favourites is the one with a guy called Monty in Peckham. He has a lovely partner who is a dancer and they do all the work themselves with a few friends. It is very clever.

I looked up and it is Series 5, Episode 1. There is also a return to visit them in another episode.

The cob house one is great.
The lighthouse one, didn't his wife leave him because it was so traumatic and stressful. Maybe not one for your daughter to watch.

DD is currently loving the House of the Year series. Mostly because we all disagree with the shortlist, but you can't disagree that they're interesting houses...

I absolutely loved Inside Out Homes on Amazon prime, highly recommend. (2016/2017 filmed)

Series 18
"South East London: Victorian Dairy House"
This one maddened me but is interesting.
Series 18

"The Recycled Timber-framed House: Revisited" (Revisited from Series 11: Episode 5)

Grand designs The Street- follows a number of people designing their own houses near Bicester.

Series 20, episode 2. Lincolnshire. A really funny episode.
