This is hard hitting these poor children it’s on Chanel 4 now
Heartbreaking that we have children living in such poverty in 2021

Thanks for the heads up, just started watching.

This is so touching how this is impacting the children.
The little boy who talks non stop is very bright and I'm sure has ADHD. That is a typical emotional over reaction in the playground
It's also sad seeing how the obvious sadness of the mum in the student accommodation is affecting the children .

The little boy asking how much the glasses were and was so happy they were free this school is amazing in the support they give but it shouldn’t happen

I am confused the first family of six have £8 per person per day after rent, transport, utilities and debt for food clothing and anything else the family needs.
That’s £1440 a month , after food £400 say a month that is still over £1000 a month left over.
Am I missing something?

I thought that too. I presumed I had misheard. I don't even think I spend £8 a day :s Hopefully someone else on here can explain

I though the same with regards to the amounts per person per day it did Sean high
But clearly they were living in poverty and had to rely on the school for food etc
I’m not sure how they worked it out TBH
All the kids were clearly aware of money issues especially the boy who’s mum worked as a carer things no children should have to worry about

Yes the boy whose mum worked as a carer was the family I was referring to , he was a lovely boy as were they all. The figures the narrator gave must have just been incorrect I guess.
