I love Halloween week, but I do agree they could tone down the green faces and still keep it creepy with different costume ideas.. I really hope there's some new songs this year. Like a PP said, I can't believe they've not done Men in Black or This is Halloween yet!

Is this something to do with copyright maybe? They can't afford Disney copyright?? Not sure how to works with songs, but think copy right has been brought up before?

@TheDeadlyNightShade love that video. Also the one where they are dancing to theme tunes. The Line of Duty one really made me laugh especially at the end with Adrian Dunbar. Also the Eastenders one with Rose and Gio.

They all seem to get on so well with their partners and it's lovely to see them having fun and a laugh.

Dianne had brunette hair until 2016, when she dyed it very orange/red. Here’s a photo from May 2016. This is WELL before she did Strictly. She was still living in Aus at this point.

I don’t think we can blame strictly for Diannes love of red hair. I follow her & Joe a bit, I was a massive fan when they first got together but now I don’t really care 😂 but I still like them both. She’s really quirky. Their house is filled with mismatched, colourful crap she buys at charity shops! Her hair, clothes not decor are my thing but she owns it. & good for her.

That said, I wouldn’t be sad if she went more natural. I think she’d look lovely.

Apologies because I can't read ALL of this thread, in the last someone was saying that JoJo shouldn't 'overdance' and I was going to say that no one says that about Katya or Amy or Oti. I've never heard a judge saying it either (I may have missed it of course ).

Oh and I felt very sorry for Ugo who was obviously in pain (never said it) not one of the judges mentioned it. Poor guy. He's sweet. Though maybe he really needed OUT.

It is uncomfortable that they make the female pros dye their hair so there's a mixture of blondes, brunettes and redheads. It seems a bit 'something for the dads.' IIRC, they made Aliona dye her hair and then messed up the colour, so she ended up with really awful hair in her first year.

I agree Esma especially when most of the males have dark hair!

I would have put Cam and Nancy together for it, yes. The outfits were bad and Neil and Dianne's hair clashed - tbh I wish they'd just let Dianne go back to her roots. Her original colour is brunette I think. When she started, you had Nadiya as blonde, Amy as brunette and Dianne as flame-red...I assume so the viewer could tell them apart given we know who they all are by now, she doesn't need it as her trademark.

I don't think they can use any of the pro dancers still in the competition though. So it would have to be either Dianne, Karen or Jowita.

I know John doesn’t like to skip leg day but why is he not wearing trousers in either of those videos? 😂

I loved John and Johannes to start with, thought that they were a great pairing. I have started to find them a bit cringe now, but I dont know why. Having seen Kai and Brian, they made a much better pairing. Kai also dance beautifully with Johannes. I think I feel Johannes is just a bit over the top now (tears etc) and that makes me feel uncomfortable........ Or is it me? I dont know. I also hate them training in the tight little shorts!!!!! (Ok its probably me then

I do think they will get to the final though as John is a fab dancer. I see John, Rose and AJ as the finalists.

I agree with this. Some of the strictly pros really do it all for their partners - ie Gio, but Johannes seems to be pulling a lot of the attention on to him. It’s lovely that he feels so comfortable and happy dancing with John, but I’d prefer a bit more of the focus on John rather than Johannes always saying what a big deal it it to him / crying / etc etc

Perhaps this is very politcally incorrect but am always distracted by John and Adam's massive bums in all their dances ( and Adams crotch in the last dance). Not in a good way. In a cringe way. I wish they would let them wear looser trousers so the bums aren't the main focus.

It’s like Johannes feels he is the bigger celebrity of the two. He may be right but it’s jarring to watch.

I love Rose as a dancer but I think she is overly giddy when she's being interviewed and comes over a bit childish.

Yes, she can be a bit annoying.

Oh gosh I don’t find Rose annoying at all, just very excited! I assume it might be difficult as a deaf person to gauge your external volume sometimes
