I know the exit felt a bit stilted but the writing with dianes family and with Kim over the last couple of episodes I thought was really good.

This 'deal' that Diane made with Kim doesn't make sense. [What am I saying? It's Emmerdale. 😂 ]

First of all, Kim would have snapped back, '15%. Take it or leave it.'

But now, what's to stop Gabby, if she's worth £4M, sodding off to the Bahamas with the bairn?

None of it has to make sense anymore. We carry on watching regardless

Thomas Tate. The Tate part was Kim’s condition before she would agree to giving Gabby 20% of everything.

It’s pretty stupid. Diane negotiates this deal and the leverage she has is that Gabby won’t take baby away to Portugal if Kim gives her 20%. Diane didn’t need to concede in any conditions. She was dangling the carrot that Kim wanted. She had all the leverage she needed. And secondly- she has disappeared before the deal is signed and delivered. Gabby certainly isn’t savvy enough to make sure it’s all done properly and watertight. Bernice? Ha!! Not a chance. So who does that leave to make sure 19 year old new mother Gabby isn’t being swindled by long time professional business woman and queen of dodgy deals, Kim? Laurel? Yeah. Good luck with that Gabby!

Laurel can be pretty scary

All I think of every time I see Laurel is her dressed up as a bumble bee when she first arrived in emmerdale

That and drunkenly killing Marlon's lovely dog Daisy

I was very happy to see Laurel telling Meena to "Bog off" when she tried to include herself in yet another conversation that had nothing to do with her........ and also being doorstepped by Kim who thankfully seems to be on her case.

My money is still on a big Christmas reveal --meaning we have to put up with this shite for another 8 weeks

It’s funny to think that Laurel was something of a bit part at first; just a comedy character really. Charlotte Bellamy has done so much with the character.
