Anyone watching/watched? Can’t find a thread. I had already read the book. Have watched the first two episodes and really enjoyed them though a bit distracted by Nicole Kidman’s face. Luke Evans smoki g hot as always.

I have seen the first two episodes. I am quite enjoying it. It seems fairly close to the book, but it is few years since I read it. Nicole Kidman is quite well cast for this. The inability to move her face is in keeping with the character.

There is a thread on here already as we posted whilst watching (but don't look at it if you don't want spoilers as we watched the full series).

I watched it all. And was distinctly underwhelmed. It was no Big Little Lies.

I really enjoyed it and loved some of the casting. Haven't read the book though.

The book was a load of old tut. I was really disappointed after her other books.

This was my least favourite book - really didn't enjoy it at all - but the show was great and I very much enjoyed the end (which they have changed from the book).

Not read the book but liked this, had low expectations (which may have helped) after reading bad reviews. Liked the ending.

I'm on episode 4 and so far it's good not amazing but I'm enjoying it, love Nicole Kidman!

It's definitely not amazing @Boredsillyathome, so don't get your hopes up for the rest of the episodes, but it is good

I binge watched it a few weekends ago. NK face was distracting pretty awful to see frankly.
Anyway I LOVED the first two or three episodes then for me it all went a bit pear shaped and odd and not what I had thought it would be etc.
Had white lotus vibes right at the beginning.
By the end I was not enjoying it at all.
Melissa McCarthy stellar.

I liked the idea and liked the first few episodes and then it just got weird. Had such good potential and some really good casting and funny moments but ultimately I was left underwhelmed.

Just finished it.

Knowing what it's like now would I have started watching it ? No.

My word but Nicole Kidman belies her age.

It was ok, I wouldn't watch it again. I can't stand Bobby Cannavale so I fast forwarded through most of his scenes.

I watched it last year on Netflix (or Prime, can't remember) and loved it. Meant to watch it again but keep forgetting it's on
