It's completely bonkers but very entertaining as long as you accept it's ludicrous! Gets really nutty about half way through 🤣😵‍💫

I really enjoyed it. Was really well written. I absolutely adored episode 5s ending with just how powerful it was.

The guy who plays the priest is really good. He starting out rather annoying me but then I decided he's a great actor!

Wordy at points but I loved it. Hamish Linklater is so good in his role! Some absolutely batshit crazy scenes (and characters) that I thought were great.

We're nearly finished and it's fabulous. Priest is that close to converting me to Christianity, despite... well, everything.

Not my genre normally, but I thought it was fantastic. So glad it was a series and not a movie.

Loved the end and found it quite emotional!

Just finished watching. It was a good story but it was quite slow, so many monologues!

Like OP I had to suspend disbelief as literally nobody did anything logical. However the actor who played Monsignor was very good, even if he did talk too much!

By the end I was over some of the monologues. Found myself losing interest after 30 seconds of each one. Enjoyed the series overall though.

I thought it was a bit slow in places, could have been condensed. I really enjoyed it though the last speech was really powerful and made me cry .

I also jumped out of my bloody skin at a couple of points, really got me

oved it from start to finish.

Yes the priest was her real Dad. When he and the doctor’s Mum talked about their affair and she said she let everyone believe her husband was the father.

Just finished the last one. The outcome for a certain character was extremely satisfying.

Now I'm going to have to watch this and report back.

I thought that character got off lightly - hated them so much I wished it was worse!

I would have enjoyed it if she'd managed to grovel herself most of the way underground before bursting into flames - for added humiliation. God, she was hideous.

I missed the reveals of who he was! And who the young woman was lol. Had to go back bit ooooh...ahhh...awwww

Loved the ending though! The singing made me cry.

Episode 5...theres always something in his episode 5's as well!
