Watch it last night on Netflix.. I'm not sure what to think Confused. I thought the audio of her in court was very powerful and believable, which is not how she comes across on her Instagram.. or in the clips of her talking at concerts. There wasn't much mention of how much access she has to her children either. Did anyone else watch and what do you think?

Well I'd like to know what's wrong with her?
Sounds like bi polar perhaps? Lithium is prescribed for that Sort of thing isn't it.

I'm utterly gob smacked by the secret way it was done, strange doctors, lawyers, it's mind boggling but... She was also free enough to meet boy friends?
Her dad, well, I'm not sure he's trust worthy at all. I hope a forensic accountant goes through all the spending he and others took from her. The entire thing is mind blowing that someone's rights can be taken away so swiftly and tightly. Her dad kept threatening to keep her dc away?.

Yes it was quite vague on that wasn't it, and that crossed my mind too! How could she meet and date? I know they mentioned asking permission to go out for food. No doubt at all that those involved got very rich off the back of it.

Theres a documentary on Sky as well

I cannot help but think there was a reason this was allowed in the first place

There is a series on BBC sounds too if you are interested. Goes into the conservatorship/dementia thing a bit.

NutellaEllaElla · 05/10/2021 13:36

Thanks for the BBC sounds recommendation. I thought the doc was interesting but it's hard to balance some things with for example her Insta feed where she's posing naked A LOT.

I think that there is an awful lot about this that isn't public, and rightly so.

She strikes me as a very very troubled soul, and has been surrounded by people with agendas since birth.

I could weep for her, and thank god that my 3 girls still come to me when they're troubled. I don't Britney has ever had anyone on her side.

NutellaEllaElla · 05/10/2021 13:50

I was really struck by how alone she was and has been since she was 16. There's not much publicity out the about her mum or sister but there's surely a lot of water under that bridge.

I agree- I want to know more because it's such a unique situation that has had so much media attention.. and yet it's incredibly personal and absolutely not my business. I hope she can be happy and have a good relationship with her children, but we really don't know anything other than what the media says and what we see on Instagram.

Just watched it, its really sad whats happened to her.

I personally don't read too much into her Instagram, maybe cos coming from a culture that restricts women alot I've seen plenty of girls go wild as soon as they moved out of home and went to uni. I can imagine that given how restricted her life has been its similar to that.

Whats a real shame though is imagine what could of been had she not got married, seeing the throwback clips of her tours pre K-Fed wow she was such a strong person.
