I'm glad there's other people here who think that all these young women mutilating themselves with injectables is terrible and aren't afraid to say so.

Tbh I think it's self-harm by proxy. I think the people performing these procedures ought to be really scrutinised.

I've really enjoyed these threads, but can I make a polite request that people aren't mean about others looks? It's just unnecessary, especially when their characters (something that they can actually control) are so easy to criticise.

This wasn't about beauty treatments. This was in reference to a cruel comment about someone's (natural) nose.

I think if someone is a decent person who has a kind heart and is just 'nice' it doesn't really matter what they look like as their so called flaws don't show. The second someone is arrogant and cruel it just highlights their flaws and that's what you concentrate on.

Sorry but I don't get it and won't agree. Morag has obviously had "extra work" done and is the very type of person to get her nose done. She had absolutely no qualms about slagging of others for how they looked. Do you really think she has never commented on someone's appearance in a negative way? You put yourself in the spotlight, on a show where looks and beauty are high on a pedestal..sorry, you're opening up to comments.

Yes I think this is very true

The whole show is so phoney. I just admit I got sucked in to some episodes despite myself. It trivialises marriage and commitment. The whole idea that someone can fall in love with a stranger whilst being filmed for a TV show is laughable.

The way the women dress and the work they have had done, the hair flicking and simpering. The bitchiness . The so called ‘experts’ pretending they are agog at every development. It’s really quite sickening. There seemed to be some genuinely nice people on the show who were turned into performing circus animals. Others who were manipulative and just out for fame. Others who were just nasty . I’m ashamed of myself for watching it.
What amazed me with Frankie and Maryanne or whatever her name is.. why did she give no thought to the effect on her sons of bringing a complete stranger into the home whom she had ‘married’? Who else would do that and call themselves a good parent? He didn’t even want kids . What on Earth was she thinking and what sort of model for relationships is she promoting to her sons?

Oh yes I remember Morag saying to Luke 'I'm someone who cares about how they look and I surround myself with people who also do'.

What amazed me with Frankie and Maryanne or whatever her name is.. why did she give no thought to the effect on her sons of bringing a complete stranger into the home whom she had ‘married’? Who else would do that and call themselves a good parent? He didn’t even want kids . What on Earth was she thinking and what sort of model for relationships is she promoting to her sons?

Well you can relax because she hasn't done that. Reportedly Franky has moved into his own place in the same town as Marilyse, which gives her the opportunity to get to know him some more before he moves in, and for her sons to be introduced to him gradually too.

Unfortunately, Marilyse and I have broke up. It’s very sad because we get along great and have gotten through a lot of obstacles but it just hasn’t worked out.

We have been mature enough to remain friends because we still respect each other and been through so much together in such a short time.

Let me tell you that this woman has a huge heart which I adored and I will always appreciate all the support she gave me when trying to adapt to a new life.

@dillite so confusing.. on the reunion she wanted to know why he ghosted her when she was desperate to make things work. But now she says she dumped him straight after the vows.

That's because she's a liar that can't keep her story straight. He probably also slipped into her DMs. Only he didn't.
