Season 17 was dire & depressing, I watch to forget about my every day reality.

so McIrish just said that Dr Avery started the Pro bono paeds surgery and Bailey and Maggie said NOTHING!!

Avery did start the pro Bono plastics things. Alex’s Africa project got moved to another hospital at some point (possibly when the hospital was broke? Or maybe when Alex was meant to be changing hospitals to become an attending).

I was slightly disappointed, I thought we’d get something big and dramatic as a welcome back to proper Greys thing. But this episode was completely forgettable. And the ‘someone from Meredith’s past’ was a random she flirted with in 1 episode.
