Did anyone watch this?
I've just finished it
It was saying at the end that the trial of the policemen collapsed because some documents went missing. But then they found them later. So if they found them why couldn't they take it trial again??

There is a podcast called Shreds that covered this very in depth. South Wales Police behaviour was shocking, makes me so angry. So many lives destroyed.

Double jeopardy. Because the trial collapsed, the police were found not guilty. Once found not guilty by a court, you can't be retried.

I don't get it
In lots of trials there's evidence that comes to light at a later date and then there's a retrial. What's the difference here?
