Anyone else watching?

I really want Ella to win - pure class.

But KSC's lip sync was brilliant (I thought she should have won) and as I've said before, she's the one I'd pay to see.

Idontknowhowtohelpher · 13/11/2021 17:18

I'm not keen on Kitty, I think she enjoyed her power handing out the acting challenge roles too much. So I did enjoy her face when RuPaul was saying who was safe - she was totally thrown! However, I think the result was the right one on the night.

Zampa · 13/11/2021 21:21

Hmmm ... I hated the double save/double badge thing. It's a competition. I want winners and losers.

Personally, don't think this season has the same quality of Queens as the first two seasons. Standard has been so much lower.

I think that too Zampa. I saw Bimini at the House of Gucci premiere and a clip on a TV show about Diana and she has real star quality. Cutting edge style and a wit to match. Same with Tayce and they didn’t even win!

Bimblybomeyelash · 14/11/2021 07:44

Yup I agree too. I’m enjoying the series but I don’t think any of the current lot would have been in the final in either of the last 2 series.

BrightYellowDaffodil · 16/11/2021 13:28

I thought last week's episode was excellent - from the earlier bit I thought the acting challenge was going to be awful but it was really good, Krystal was much better than I expected and Vanity did really well with what could have been a very limiting role.

I'm glad they all stayed but I still think the final two will be Kitty v Ella.

Bimblybomeyelash · 18/11/2021 20:35

Oh my god I’ve had to pause iplayer because Krystal’s roast is killing me!!!!

doadeer · 18/11/2021 20:35

Wow Ella killed it!

She reminds me of Bianca Del Rio in that she's such a pro

doadeer · 18/11/2021 20:37

Serious question...

How can everyone do the splits?!!

yougottasmilesobright · 18/11/2021 20:52

Ella Vaday is gonna win I reckon but not only that as a man is proper proper hot! I've never said that about a drag Queen ever !

Dollywilde · 18/11/2021 21:06

Loved today’s. Agree that the right Queen went but I had really warmed to her Smile

I would pay good money to go see the Kitty and Ella show tbh Grin

DH and I want Ella to win, but that almost certainly means she won’t. Who did everyone favour in past seasons? We wanted Bimini for S2. In S1 I was team Divina and he was team Baga. So it looks like us backing a Queen is a bit of a curse!!

Dollywilde · 18/11/2021 21:07

This is a very good point. I’m the same age as Ella. I can forgive Krystal being bendy, she’s still a teenager, but who the fuck can bend like that at 32 Envy

I was the same: Season 1 I wanted Baga or Davina, Season 2 I was Bimini all the way. The fact that I want Ella or Kitty to win (both of whom I adore) then it will almost certainly be Krystal.

Dollywilde · 18/11/2021 21:31

@BrightYellowDaffodil Grin

Zampa · 18/11/2021 21:44

Kitty and Ella are just streets ahead this year but that was an amazing lip sync.

@dollywilde I wanted Divina to win in S1 too but then when I saw the live show, she wasn't that great and The Vivienne was amazing. I was definitely Team Bimini for S2 and think she was robbed.

Still love Ella, she was hilarious tonight!! Kitty was good, but not as much as Ella!

Bloodypunkrockers · 18/11/2021 22:03

Ella was fab. And in the black polo neckBlush swoon

lovelychops · 18/11/2021 22:28

Ella just keeps on getting better and better! She has to win 🏆

BoJoSecretGF · 18/11/2021 23:44

Ella is a real pro and Kitty’s enthusiasm is infectious. Tough choice, I also love the bond between them all

SirYawnsAlot · 19/11/2021 05:24

I wanted Bagga, Bimini and Chorizo to win.
I'm backing Ella now, Ru said the audience can decide, I wonder how you vote?

OrSoItSeemsThatWay · 19/11/2021 07:46

Nope, I'll have to go back and check but I'm pretty sure Ru said 'I want to know who you want to win'. And then gave the hashtags you can use on social media to show your support. Not that we get to vote or decide! Still all down to Ru.
BoJoSecretGF · 19/11/2021 09:01

And hasn’t all this been pre-recorded so the winner has already been decided?

Bimblybomeyelash · 19/11/2021 09:23

Very glad that Ella won that episode. After the critiques I thought it would be kitty, but Ella’s roast was miles ahead of hers in terms of content and delivery. I thought vanity looked absolutely stunning, and did a brilliant lip sync of course, but it was her time to go. I have actually warmed to Krystal as the season has progressed, she obviously has a way to go with some aspects of her performance, but I think she knows that and has a good sense of humour about herself.

OrSoItSeemsThatWay · 19/11/2021 09:42

@BoJoSecretGF

I think that with S1 they recorded multiple endings with each of the finalists 'winning', then on the day of broadcast it's revealed which ending has been chosen. They had a bit where you saw the contestants watching, I think, to see it confirmed who had won! Don't know if that's still the case but I reckon it is quite likely.
BrightYellowDaffodil · 19/11/2021 15:59

I think the "tag your favourite on social media" is just a gimmick thing to get more traffic on Instagram/Twitter/whatever. It's a bit like how at the beginning Ru turns to the camera and says "Hashtag Drag Race UK" in a tone of voice that indicates he's contractually obliged to do so.
