I've never been keen on Marylise, she's never seemed open and honest and I think she's been toying with Franky and doesn't have an interest in him longer term. Her life seems pretty well set up and I think she just wanted to crack his public persona. Unless for some weird reason they colluded together to tell that storyline.

I'm not a big Amy fan but I felt for her at the dinner party. The ranking question was downright cruel and unnecessary. I agree with pp who stated that Josh & Amy have the most honest relationship of them all. They have issues and aren't afraid to address them. I don't think they'll last but I think they'll both have learned a lot moving forward into better suited relationships.

Tayla and Adam are Mr & Mrs Smugson from Smugtown. Too good to be true.

The honesty box questions were appalling, the whole concept of it and the questions themselves.

I can't remember which contestant said "here we were having a lovely dinner party and enjoying ourselves and now they drop this bomb into it". It must have been so stressful for them all to sit through.

I'm Mrs outraged of Tunbridge Wells over this, I really am.

I'm up to date. I've concluded that I've committed myself to the series and will honour that (possibly more than most of the show participants have!) but I have no desire to watch another series of this. I miss the original channel 4 version. The episodes are now boring as they basically are the same conversations repeated every time and when the show does try to create drama it just feels cruel and utterly contrived. Dan and Matt seem to me like the couple most rooted in reality and they are aware of what their difficulties are. Tay and Adam are in the honeymoon period, it's unlikely to stay like this forever and whoever it was who said having early conflicts at least allows both partners to see how they'll resolve conflicts long term actually made sense. Having said that, with all the editing maybe Tay and Adam are constantly at eachothers throats and we just don't see it(!) 🤣

Morag is far worse than Franky (who is pretty bad himself) but because she cries, she seems to get away with it more. Good on Matt for calling her out.

I agree I don't think I'll watch another series of it. There's no substance, the producers have clearly learned nothing from other reality shows or how the way people are depicted may cause public outrage towards them.

All the comments from 4 episodes ago....about his house. I think it was probably his nan's (or grandads) house inherited when they passed. Hence why it is only slowly being done up and had all the assistance aids. A care home manager - despite doing an incredibly worthwhile job doesn't earn loads....and I wonder if he's a volunteer fireman (are they called reserves?) on the side.

I just wish we could have a genuine ‘real’ mafs. Real people in their real homes, looking for real love. Oh and if they were married for real too, that would make it all much more exciting.

I liked the genuine UK version and I liked the Drama-ridden Oz version. This new UK version has neither drama nor genuineness.
