When something is such a big part of your life of course you refer to it.

You don’t stop referring to your experiences through life whether you’ve been in the forces or not.

But it's not done in the same way us "civvies" talk about work. It's always done as if it's a one-up manship.

And in my experience it's folk who've been in the air force that are the worst for it.

It's properly insane for him to say he'll come back from Dubai to live on the basis of a reality show romance and had no thoughts of returning to the UK beforehand.

Luke is very foolish. but as a man he can have a child at almost any age.

Poor josh, Amy is not really kind. I am sure Josh at 26 will easily meet someone he is more suited to.

@SheldonesqueTheBstard - I agree a lot of Amy’s behaviour comes from hurt, but I don’t think Josh is the one to me and her heart, he’s not in the same chapter of life as her.

I get Luke saying he accepts that he may never have kids, and that’s healthy, not to be 100% driven and disappointed if it doesn’t happen. That doesn’t mean you have to give up on it though or just hope that eventually Morag will change her mind if she sees how lovely you are with kids.

I feel like they are following a script their conversations are forced and not natural.

Not all ex forces people go on about it ,all the time. I served too but a relatively short time of my life. I never mention it, unless it comes up in conversation, which it rarely does.

I don't mind Amy although I did miss most of the homestay episode.

I think she is very defensive and in being defensive she lashes out.

I kinda used to be like that as a sort of learned behaviour of how my parents reacted if I had done something they deemed "bad" when I was young.
It took meeting my husband for him to show me this is not how people argue. You don't need to shout and swear etc. He really made me think about it and it all stemmed back to childhood and teen years plus a bad first boyfriend experience.
If he can help her see a better way, I think they'd be ok

I've been watching since Friday night and I am finally up to date on the show, and the thousands of comments on here !

I'm really hoping for Matt and Dan to last as they seem genuinely happy with each other. I thought the producers had thrown in a gay couple for ratings and to look inclusive. But they do seem to care for each other and want it to work. I don't know if that was intentional or the 'experts' have just had a huge fluke there.

Tayah and Adam. I think his lack of experience in relationships makes him vulnerable and naive. He has clung into Tayah because it's the first time he has had feelings properly for a woman and is mistaking it for love. I feel awful for Tayah and what she has been through but I feel that she is using Adams inexperience to her advantage to get the baby she feels she needs to get over the miscarriage she had previously. I really do hope they last and get along long term if they are so adamant on having a child so soon. But I also hope the programme offers some kind of therapy to her so she can deal with the trauma of the miscarriage she so clearly hasn't dealt with.

Wanky and Ms Stockholm. Oh my god it is scary to watch. Please get her away for him. I can not imagine being someone close to her and watching this back. Luke would be a much better husband for her.
