So apparently (from Wiki) Tommy Cotton is the son of Charlie cotton and Rose Cotton (dots half-sister who Charlie married bigamously) AND the brother of Andrew Cotton who was of course the fiancé of Heather (Ev) Trott and now lives in a far-away land with Ev's son George! So that makes him Nick Cottons half-brother (I think) and Dotty's (half?)-uncle
