Along with To the Manor Born, Doctor Who and a Strictly Come dancing special.
At least according to digital spy they are. Haven't seen any other listings for the Christmas period, most fo the ones which come out early have that good old TBA programme showing!

PrisonerCellBlockAitch · 04/12/2007 16:05

they've only just announced today, digital spy is right.

PrisonerCellBlockAitch · 04/12/2007 16:26

i've got the whole bbc schedule here if anyone's interested

bossybritches · 04/12/2007 16:28

Oh God a whole TV-fest -must get the video fixed !!

saltirehangingonachristmastree · 04/12/2007 16:49

Is it any good though Aitch? For the past 2 years we haven't had the TV on on Christmas Day - mainly to annoy MIL, but it's been quite good, and don't feel as though we have missed anything.
Anything esle good on?

SHIT, didn't mean to do all that. sorry.

yaddayule · 04/12/2007 17:00

The only thing I'll be watching is Dr Who ..perhaps Lead Balloon that raises a chortle apart from that.. sigh.. does anyone really watch Hetty Wainthropp ?

southeastastra · 04/12/2007 17:24

how depressing as usual. last year i watched play misty for me - such a christmassy show.

Tamum · 04/12/2007 17:27

Oh, I would like to see the History Boys, will be interested to compare it to the play. Is it really a repeat of To The Manor Born in a prime-time Christmas day slot, or something with the same name?

southeastastra · 04/12/2007 17:30

bbcfour is having another ghosty season thought which is always great

UnquietDad · 04/12/2007 17:31

Dragon's Den Christmas Special should be a laugh. I can just see Bannatyne getting into the festive spirit when faced with Kevin from Ashby-de-la-Zouch and his patented wall-painting device for which he doesn't know the projected turnover because he hasn't sold any yet.

VictorianSqualor · 04/12/2007 17:44

I saw the History Boys on DVD a while back, DP didn't enjoy it but I loved it.

Tamum · 04/12/2007 17:48

That's good to know VS, thanks. I think it will be interesting to see how they do it even if I dont enjoy it much- the play is so very much a staged play IYSWIM.

Blu · 04/12/2007 17:51

Surely anyone who wants to see Nemo and Shrek again has the DVD?...how bloody tedious!
History Boys good - haven't seen that.

Tamum · 04/12/2007 17:53

I thought that about Shrek and Finding Nemo too- I can't believe they will be new to many people. I looked at Sky Movies for December but they don't seem to have much either unless they are saving a big announcement.

Joash · 04/12/2007 18:08

SO very little, or even nothing special or different ot watch then.

Oh hurrah, thanks Aitch- looks like a full-length Ballet Shoes rather than a serial, hurrah, and a massively long Extras. That's more like it.
