Watching the second episode & the Brotherton Library features. I’ve nearly cried as it’s taken me right back to such happy times

I love this programme and David Olusoga.

I did a house history module as part of my masters. So obviously I researched mine and found it absolutely fascinating.

Turns out we were a gardeners cottage (vastly upgraded over the years ) for a Victorian estate (1840s) which has now disappeared. I've got a timeline of all the inhabitants and am awaiting the release of the 1921 census.

Love A House Through Time as he really delves into the archives and comes up with some brilliant people stories.
