I hope as they introduce more couples then we will see less of Morag and Nikita, both of whom are waving red flags galore. Also cynical me thinks that the producers keep prodding them to mention dead nan/dad at any opportunity and it's very unfair.

I think all of the men and Megan are coming across very well and handling things really well. Basically Nikita and Morag are not coming across well.

My armchair diagnosis is that Megan has a bit of a schizoid adaptation and fears being overwhelmed whilst Bob has a bit of a borderline adaptation and fears being rejected.

I fear that the participant are putting far too much weight on the "experts" and their rationale. There is no rationale. There is no secret reason you've been matched. It's pure entertainment. It's like the experts are gaslighting Luke and Ant, "I need to be more vulnerable, I need to dig deeper... I mean, there must be some reason we've been matched..? Right?".

I honestly think Morag is going to grow on us, she seems open to accept when she's at fault and can talk things out without shouting. But I do wonder if it will be a bit like Ning and Mark from the Australian one if anyone remembers them? Basically I think by the time Morag realises she's onto a good thing with Luke, he may have had enough and it be too little too late.

In Yorkshire, knackered means really tired. Only in my 20s did I learn other people from other areas think it means tired after sex, I now avoid using it. I’ve also heard it used to mean something rude here as in ‘kick him in the knackers’ when used as a noun. Weird the many meanings of words…

Just reading the thread properly and I had no idea that one of the words I used in the title was offensive.

The word has always meant ‘testicle’ to me and I took that to mean that was what Nikita meant.

If anyone at all is unhappy or uncomfortable with the word, please let me know and I shall ask MNHQ to edit it.

I might be a horrible old sow but I will never intentionally hurt or offend anyone on here. (One or two in real life will not get that courtesy)

I know some people think ‘knackered’ is a swear as apparently it used to mean ‘tired after sex’.

This explains why my mum used to look shocked and tell me off when I said it!! I've always wondered why 🤷🏻‍♀️

I reckon Knackita meant the other version and even If she didn't I don't think a word for being tired after sex is offensive. Unless you're mum and your 10 year old daughter says it 😂

I'm in Yorkshire too, I know knackered means exhausted and refers to the knackers yard. I know it also means bollocks. It's uncouth but I wouldn't find it offensive OP

I think the so called experts are either conning them and us or the production team are or both! Luke being a fireman has been brushed under the carpet a bit, as shallow as it may seem I think most women find them sexy, because of what they do, and their motivation for doing the job. Luke trying on clothes showed he has a well toned body, he's taking care of kids who have been let down by their own parents (hero) she isn't all that special, looks or personality, hope she gives her head a wobble and appreciates him...Nikita is coming across as just awful and such hard work, she also makes a big deal about looks, but isn't actually pretty possibly because of the work she's had done..her Mum is more attractive I think, her Dad pure Gru, she needs to tone everything down

Exactly what I was thinking. She actually seems like a genuine woman. But I’m not sure this is the right show for her. Or if this fella (OBVS - the stupid fuckwit ixperts clearly cannot do their job at all) is right for her…. 🙄🙄🙄
