For me - probably the flashback ones where Monica is dating the boring doctor roger and then sleeps with Chandler!

I love the one where Rachel tried to prove she didn’t come on to Ross and when she starts to tell the story on tape and they all gasp.

So hard to choose!

I agree with lots of other posters in that the ‘Ross moments’ are the best - fake tan, the teeth, leather trousers, pivot etc. Such an amazing character and David Schwimmer is a genius - I can’t imagine anyone else playing Ross!

If I had to pick my favourite would probably be TOW Rachel and Ross…you know. The chemistry between Jennifer and David in these scenes make it feel so real!

Yes that’s another of my favourites.

Probably the one when no one is ready would be mine, but so many scenes have great lines in them.

The random scene with Billy Crystal and Robin Williams is pure gold - 'I think shes sleeping with her gynaecologist'

Also, any episode where Janice unexpectedly pops up with 'oh my god'!!

When Ross stays out all night and hooks up with Janice

The one where Ross and Rachel go to Las Vegas and prank each other and then get married but are so drunk neither of them remember!

All the episodes with rachel's spoilt sisters!

The one where they "almost", with the flashback, and Phoebe trying to move out of Monica's apartment without her noticing - "I need to live in a land where I can spill!"

When Mr Heckles dies and Chandler thinks he's going to be like him - "I'll be the crazy snake man!" "Woah not ready for commitment!"

Ooh another one the one where Monica gets her credit card stolen and becomes... "Manana!"

I love the one where Rachel and Monica swop identities (for Rachel's medical treatment) and they date the two ER doctors.

My favourite moment will always be this one:

Joey : [about Rachel's assistant, Tag] If he doesn't like you, then this is all just a moo point.
Rachel : Huh. A moo point?
Joey : Yeah, it's like a cow's opinion, you know, it just doesn't matter. It's "moo".
Rachel : Have I been living with him for too long, or did that all just make sense?

Jon Lovitz as the Stoned guy! 'Bears overboard!' 'I have such fat hands!' Friends had outstanding guest stars.

That's a reappearance of his character! He's in the first season too as the stoned guy who is going to invest in Monica's restaurant.

I love Friends. I get very upset when people bitch about. Most of the best bits involve Ross - pivot, leather pants, spray tan, 'I'm fine', 'my sandwich', his Cheshire cat/glow in the dark teeth, him pouncing on his cousin (Denise Richards) to name just a few!

Any episode with Janice in gets my vote.

I wouldn’t have said Ross was my favourite character but my fave episodes include white teeth, leather trousers, fake tan and pivot so maybe he is?

I also love the one where Ross dates the girl with the dirty flat.

The One with Ross’ Library Book. Ross discovers that his doctoral dissertation can be found at the library in the palaeontology section. He gets upset that students only use that section of the library to make out or have sex because no one goes in there. He tries to stop this and even makes a complaint to the librarian and suggests they police that section to stop people from using it for sex.

Then while he is trying to police that section of the library he meets an attractive woman who actually likes palaeontology and has read his book and was impressed that he is the author. They end up making out and get caught half undressed in the palaeontology section of the library

I thought I had favourites until I read all the above and love everyone of those as well.............except the Brad Pitt one........I agree with the other poster, he was awful.

It shows what a different skill sitcom work is compared to film work. He's much better in films but agree he's dire in that friends episode.

It’s a mildly funny episode but it’s true, Brad really isn’t at his best.

How many of Jennifer’s boyfriends guest starred? Was it just Tate and Brad or were there more?

We do have to give some credit to weaker performances of well known movie stars - appearing in front of a live audience is a different environment to filming scenes on closed sets.

I heard Reese Witherspoon in an interview once saying she turned down subsequent invitations to go back, based purely on how terrifying she found it being in front of a live audience.

Yes I can well imagine it would terrifying!

Can’t pick a favourite! I’ve got so many I love for different reasons!!
The early one where Ross and Rachel have a bust up and then he kisses her as she’s closing up central perk makes me melt!
The one where everyone knows about Monica and Chandler but they don’t know that they know.
The one where Brad Pitt comes for thanksgiving dinner.
The one where Ross has the radio station play “with or without you” and Rachel rings the DJ to tell her about what Ross did

So many more!

Can't believe no one has mentioned The One With Monica's Thunder yet, where they're supposed to be celebrating Monica's and Chandler's engagement From start to finish it's comedy gold, I could watch it over and over again and still laugh.

Oh and the one where Chandler and Joey argue over whose name for the third triplet... 'There will never be a President Joey'
