Comedy on Channel 4. F£&$ me, just started watching and looks Good!! Premise is a Punk Band trying to make it - only they’re all observant Muslim girls! Assume someone will come along soon muttering about ‘Cultural misappropriation’ but appears all involved are Muslim; haven’t googled yet!

I watched it and loved it. The only thing that was really disappointing was that they got things wrong about Islam, small things like saying music is haraam. I thought it was quite lazy of them to make mistakes like that. The characters and storyline are great though

Re music being haraam - I took this to be quite a strict interpretation that wasn’t shared by everyone - did I get that wrong? I’m not Muslim so might have misunderstood

As usual, organised religion is a ‘bugg£&’ and open to interpretation. Looking forward to watching rest and exploring who wrote the music!

Cat Stevens gave up performing when he converted didn’t he? So I guess it’s an interpretation.

Has anyone watched/started watching series 2? I keep missing them live so I've just started to watch on the 4 player. Been waiting for this for years, so looking forward to it! Already laughed a few mins in.

I blummin forgot it was on last night, wasn't it? Damn damn damn. I do not have the facilities to watch again.
