hmm... neighbours: Is it actually possible to have a kidney transplant by keyhole surgery?

fryalot · 29/11/2007 14:38

surely they couldn't get it out of a keyhole sized hole in a good enough condition to put it in someone else's body?

I know there are more important things in the world to be worrying about, but....

ahhhhhhh - y'know what ... I may cheat and look at the aussie neighbours website to see if Rosetta returns [saddo alert!] and enough dissing of the husband - he is superb!

AND I like toadie, but fear he is leaving soon too (or perhaps like Egg I am eating too much cheese at night and dreaming Neighbours story lines ..)

Toadie leaving??????? Surely not. He will never get another acting job. He looks too much like Toadie.

And what is really going on with Richard and Rebecca. Is he as bad as she makes out?

Rosetta not returning - surely not... that would be a bit sudden? She is the only one who wears the same stuff over and over. Anyone else noticed her polka dot see-through blouse? No? Just me then... oh dear...

LOL @ the see-through polka dot blouse - yes, I have noticed it too (tis a worry ) ... apparently she hasn't left ... yet

Ha ha, love this thread squonk!
We actually had Stingray to turn on our Christmas lights this year.

Report
fryalot · 30/11/2007 12:04

didn't stingray donate his organs when he popped his clogs?

They're very donation-friendly over on neighbours at the mo, aren't they?

(Is he doing panto near you, ranting? or is he hoping to break into British soaps )

wonder if he's checked out Emmerdale and realised that there's probably a job waiting for him there

Hmm, better than Doctor Carl though .

I noticed that polka dot blouse thing too btw. She always wore it when in work mode.

I find Pepper the most irritating. I wonder what she looks like without 3 inches of make-up.

I think they should have explored that lesbian story line a bit more. Just one peck on the lips was HARDLY worth it.

Report
Egg · 30/11/2007 13:57

Oooh I missed the lesbo bit. Who was she kissing? Carmella?

The thing I dislike about Pepper (apart from her having the same name as a cartoon pig) is her hideous hair extensions. And that she is shagging Foz from Hollyoaks.

fryalot · 30/11/2007 13:58

which reminds me, did he have that ridiculous accent when he was in Hollyoaks? He sounds like an American actor trying to "do" British. I keep expecting him to turn into an evil world dominating villain!

when the English bloke first came on, I thought he was an Aussie putting on that English accent he sounded so odd. Didn't realise he had already started making his way around all the soaps.

She kissed Rosie I think. In a moment of passion.

Egg · 30/11/2007 14:00

Yep he always sounded odd in Hollyoaks too, mainly as they all talk like you as they are "oop North".

I caught a bit of Hollyoaks the other day, not watched for about 5 months. Is Nancy suddenly a teacher having been a student last time I watched?

Egg · 30/11/2007 14:01

Ugh! Pepper and Rosie?

Yes, he is working his way round the soaps. He will prob be part of some random step family with Stingray in Emmerdale soon.

don't watch it, sorry.

it's Casualty. Once you've hit Casualty, you're on your way out I reckon. They normally get there after the Bill.

ROFL fox . It is true. Although let's face it, I think Doctors is one step down from Casualty. The bird that used to be in Corrie (she was a policewoman and I think shagging Curly) is now a policewoman in Doctors. What a comedown.

Even worse, I believe she is married to Billy from Eastenders in real life!

lol that is weird!

I only ever watch soaps periodically. I watched the Bill for years but gave up about 5 years ago. I haven't watched Eastenders for longer than that and I went off Casualty a year or so ago (once Manimal bloke and the aussie girl went off it I think!).

sorry to butt in .. the first time I watched neighbours Daphne was giving birth through her dungeree's by the side of a lake, Amazing I think the baby must have fallen down the leg or something. (ooh that was a long time ago!)

Harold donated a kidney to lou and he has never had a hospital appt since! Also the girl in coronation st dierdres daughter had a transplant donated by her mums boyfriend and shows no signs of ever having had it miracles in soapland, she even had a baby with no mention of the transplant and I know from experience that transplant pregnancies are tricky
