Isn't it!

bizzey · 13/07/2022 20:00

That screen shot was ",Terry"
Terry ?
I am a week behind on my classic casualty so not seen him yet ..

But my word !

Love how Bob has been saying...
He will not put on a pinny and serve in a cafe ...and wait on people...

Snozzlemaid · 13/07/2022 22:50

The screenshot of Terry was a recent Casualty episode not a classic one.
It's the episode called Wednesday's child.

bizzey · 13/07/2022 23:05

Actually ..small brain cells are igniting!

I do remember watching an episode... thinking...I know him !

That the trouble watching both of them at the same time !!

bizzey · 13/07/2022 23:05

(and all the soaps !)

I enjoyed the vicarage scenes with Ashley and Bernice, it was very well done, classic feels so authentic compared to modern Emmerdale, it’s like you could really be peering in someone’s window watching Bernice pour the tea whilst ending her marriage, very subtle but very real, scenes like that would never happen today, it was very well written and performed. Modern Emmerdale is like watching a play at my local theatre or like watching an episode of Crossroads, wooden and a bit fake.

"All that huffing and puffing and grey hair" Grin

Surely Ashley and Bernice could have sorted a better solution. I know the actress probably wanted to leave but it's terrible.

RaraRachael · 27/07/2022 14:31

I agree - it's an awful solution for yet another of Bernice's exits. Maybe explains why Gabby has turned out the way she has. As in all Emmerdale departures, it's all been arranged in a matter of days.

LadyVictoriaSponge · 02/08/2022 00:11

What a pig Ashley is, so selfish only thinking about himself and how he feels and not the fact that his daughter needs her mother, happy for his daughter to be brought up motherless because he can’t cope with being in the same village as Bernice. It would have been more authentic if Bernice had never taken to motherhood like when she first had Gabrielle, but the way Bernice has been forced to leave the baby she adores is really horrible.

I missed the first episode today so I don't know why Eric and Gloria fell out but their wedding is hilarious Grin

Only one episode today but two on the repeat tomorrow morning. They messing about with the episodes again?

JaneJeffer · 12/08/2022 15:02

Zoe is playing this story so well.

I'm a couple of weeks behind. Trying to catch up but it's difficult as there are so many episodes each week 😩

JaneJeffer · 12/08/2022 19:22

I missed a lot this week but saw enough to get the gist of what's happening.

I've watched the odd episode -
Diane was very cool when her current squeeze ( is it Mack? Max? ) was set up to sit with his bitchy ex .

JaneJeffer · 12/08/2022 20:20

I missed that. In my mind Jack and Diane were together always, don't remember any of this!

Now that the cafe's open, where do Viv and family sit in the evenings? As far as I can make out, customers enter by the side door that used to lead to the kitchen/dining area and there was a couch and a sort of living area.

JaneJeffer · 15/08/2022 15:04

Love Zoe's playlist Grin

Sadly I think they are men of the time - quite a few things are said or done by characters that would not be acceptable today.

I can remember Scott and Zoe getting it together but was sure it was in the living room of Home Farm 😅. However I think my ageing brain has confused the deed with the first lesbian kiss.
