I think Kaz has always been one of the most popular contestants on this thread? Confused.

She's handled the whole thing with Tyler and Matthew pretty badly don't you think? Yes, Tyler is the baddie but she's mucking around with Matthew's feelings and, if not his feelings, then his chances in the villa. I don't like her for this but that's not me being determined to hate her.

I didn't slate her. I said she's not special. I see girls that look like her everyday. I also said she's by no means ugly. I just don't understand where everyone is coming from when they say she's stunning. I don't see it.

That doesn't make her unattractive. It just means I'm not attracted to her.

Even before the Tyler/Matthew thing people were eyerolling her behaviour and calling her fake. She hasn't handled the situation in the best way possible but she hasn't had a chance to in there. She was blindsided after two days of Casa. They had 4 days to get to know people and she hadn't been doing so until she saw a picture of Tyler kissing Clarrise in bed. She then decided she was going to give her effort to someone else and recouple but she had already (very quickly, granted) developed feelings for Tyler. She couldn't switch them off. She hadn't gotten any closure on the situation with him either. Matt made his move when she had literally been crying earlier in the day. He saw a vulnerability and he went for it. Which is the game. You get in there when you can, all the guys scrambled when the postcard hit (remember Sam's absolute glee!).

I can 100% understand why Kaz has had this back and forth with Tyler and Matthew. She hasn't had a chance to develop feelings for one or lose them for the other. It's happened over a matter of days. She had to recouple with someone.

When it comes to her being annoyed that Matthew isn't cuddling her it's because of the stark change in him. He knew her situation. He knew she had feelings for someone and that she was going to have to do some soul searching. He was all over her when it meant getting into the villa though. Now he's cooled off when the reality is the same.

He had an opportunity to tell Kaz that he wasn't happy to have her get to know Tyler still, that he wanted 100% from her and instead he sat there like a potato in awkward silence and then bitched about it to the lads later.

No one in that Villa is a Saint (except Libs and Millie tbh). But people are vicious about them here. They're young. Their feelings are literally being played with for our entertainment. We can't say how we would act in their situation because it's not real. It's forced and amplified.

TLDR: Kaz isn't a bitch, she's just a sad bean.

Really? I don't get that at all. All of the contestants have had criticism as far as I can see, and if any of the others had done what kaz had done re coupling up with Matthew to get back at Tyler you bet people would be savage.

I didn't think Millie was attractive when I first saw her ... but I really like her now and think she's gorgeous.

I think Clarisse is stunning but I really don't like her!

Tony reminds me of the moon emoji 🌝 his features are all crammed in to a small portion of his face.

I don't think Liam is that much of an arsehole - he's 21, he's known Millie a couple of days and Lillie was HURLING herself at him 🤣 I snogged someone else when I had been seeing DH for a few weeks (as did he probably) it meant nothing and we have spent the past 22 years devoted to each other

Felt sorry for Sam. He's a nice boy, sure Mary could've been a bit more gracious about the situation. Actually think Abi would be good with Sam.

Hard to tell if Liam actually likes Millie or if the whole thing is to gain as much attention as possible.

I don't get the Jake hate. Love Liberty.

Like Teddy and Faye together.

Tyler is treating Clarsse badly, Kaz is standing up for herself well but Matt is being used in the process.

This thread is supposed to be light-hearted, discussing the show and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Maybe sometimes things could be phrased a little differently but people often post while watching so post quickly and 'in the moment'.

As an aside people saying Millie having Liam back (not sure who else she could have chosen at the time) isn't showing our daughters a good example, I think you're not crediting our girls with enough intelligence and wherewithal to see through it. Things like this raise some great discussion points about red flags, boundaries and self-respect and I think teens today are way more switched on to these things that we ever were.

I’m not sure Millie had much in the way of options. In the real world she probably would have taken a break from men and just hung out with her female friends for a bit, but she’s in this weirdly manufactured situation where she had to choose a bloke and unless she picked Sam, she’s treading on someone else’s toes, plus the place is hardly bursting with decent guys.
Totally agree, it's not real life it's the heightened atmosphere of reality tv.

She hasn't gone running straight back into his arms and what she is saying about him needing to respect her and what he done was really wrong and hurtful is appropriate. She also didn't swoon over his childish napkin message and said it was basically naff!
She didn't really have a choice of who to pick last night. Of course she still likes him but isn't just accepting his awful behaviour.
I still would love someone else to come in and sweep her off her feet.

The only time I have said anything like this was that we shouldn’t be calling girls bitches and that that term is misogynistic. TBH everyone can have their own take on things as that is what makes a thread and posters communicate through that so 🤷‍♀️

Maybe it's my great age Hmm but I miss maybe 70% of what is said on Love Island and when they put the subtitles on for little tiny snippets it's a blessed relief Grin. I literally need a translator for Chloe.

I use my TV subtitles all the time. Very helpful with LI!

While I'm here, I was just musing about how Liam and Millie might play out from now on. I wouldn't actually be surprised if, now that he's 'won' her back, he stops making an effort. And wouldn't be surprised either if he turned his head towards a new arrival.

I don't actually think he's with her for herself - rather it's for the kudos of having the best girl in there as one's partner.

Exactly this. I just roll my eyes when I see the 'jealousy is not a good look' line trotted out. It's so pathetic and unoriginal. FFS, just because a woman says a negative thing about another woman, that doesn't mean she is JEALOUS. Why the fuck would anyone be JEALOUS of any of the women in Love Island?
