I've just finished watching this and found it so moving. I had no idea he struggled so much growing up. So glad he had that access to nature that was such a healing power for him.

Also, bloody hell, I can't believe he's sixty!

I saw it during the week and also found it very moving and really warmed to Chris Packham. The walk looked lovely.

Its on BBC iplayer @starmoonsun. I've watched it this afternoon, agree with the other comments and well worth watching.

I bumped into him once and he was lovely. Really kind and gracious and while I babbled about how much dh enjoyed his nature shows he gave an autograph without any sense of acting like a celeb. Have a huge amount of time for him and the great work he does for wildlife and the environment.
