Gerry was a great character. I never understood why they killed him off

Maybe Lachlan can escape and hide out in the HF attic again popping out occasionally to kill off someone annoying.

How weird - I was just remembering Gerry and what a great character he was. It was a shame he was killed off, but it added to how menacing Lachlan was. Great soap baddies don't come round very often and if Meena is the current one, it shows how far Emmerdale has plummeted
