How about radio?

I hope it's okay to add the subject of radio. I prefer it to tv, Classic FM for relaxing, Planet Rock for doing stuff and I DID like radio 4 extra in the evenings, particularly The Comedy Club. But the good programmes seem to be ending and more political ones taking over. Anyone know if a good alternative? Non-music channels seem very thin on the ground.

I love radio. On a weekday I like a bit of LBC, then Classic FM before returning to LBC for Eddie Mair at 4pm. He's just such a good presenter and handles difficult conversations so beautifully and sensitively.

I've not listened to R4 consistently for a while now but do dip in and out, mainly for The Archers omnibus though.

Thanks @BeBraveAndBeKind, I'll give LBC a listen. Not keen on the Archers, I gave it up years ago when they got a bit preachy.
