Recommend me a series?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a series for me and my husband to watch.
We like crime, thriller, mystery, history that sort of thing and prefer a limited series or one with under 10 episodes per season as I find they can drag on otherwise! But open to most things.

Trapped , prime . My favourite Nordic and only 2 series

It's an old one but we've been watching 'accused by Jimmy mcgovern. Each episode is standalone and tells the story of how the defendant came to be in the Dock and ends with the jury's verdict
