I like teddy too, he is a bit sexual but he’s not the only one in there like that. I’m not seeing what the others are seeing yet, I think he just didn’t really fancy Sharon or kaz and Rachel was just too desperate, so Faye it was.

They're not the brightest bunch sadly, so it doesn't surprise me that they might not have heard the phrase or know its roots!

I think it's poor casting and also poor production - they should do more of the fun stuff / ice breaker type exercises to bring out their true personalities.

Based on First Look, there's definitely a twist and I think that will be it.

This series is crap isn't it, I usually like it as a guilty pleasure, but I can't even be arsed to sit though ten minutes of an episode. Do we think it's had its day, or just poor casting?

Agree The casting is poor. I actually fell asleep during the programme I remember when LI was a must see. The men are just awful They need to keep Liberty, Faye and kaz and get rid of everyone else. A mass eviction would be great

The food challenge was disgusting. I fast forwarded through it too.
The episode was full.
Is Chloe into Toby? I presume she is just playing the game and having some fun? I think that’s a great way to go through this show.
Millie is getting in too deep with Liam. Her quips about being being in love appear too be the reality and she is testing the waters instead of the joke she’s letting it on to be.

Teddy comes across as a bit sleazy to me too but I'm wondering if he got the idea that everyone was being overtly sexual in there and that's just the norm because of Rachel's conversations to him.
I like the way Liberty has kept Jake slightly at arm's length in that regard. Liam and Millie need to get a room but at least they seem to be on the same page.

Well I read all of your posts from last night and to-day, and I have to agree - this series is dull. I watch with my 2 teens and neither of them care about anyone either - they are usually invested in someone. DD even suggested that this could be the first series where everyone switches in Casa Amore - but how would that work???

I don't care who they dump - although I would love to dump Jake because I think that he thinks that he has us all fooled

I was surprised that Teddy chose Faye, I thought Rachel was stunning.

I also think Lucinda is very beautiful but I cannot understand why she chose Brad - he really is the worst guy I have ever seen on there in terms of "me, myself and I' obsession. And I get the feeling that she really is not into him.

Maybe they could totally change the format and dump them all and bring in a completely new cast!

I agree with the PP who said it'd be good to see the women doing the spitting in the food challenges for a change

I don't like Sharon. I find her annoying and she does look v fake tbh. Also don't get why Hugo chose her and said what he did after that whole debacle.

The "I love you" from the girls to one another seems disingenuous.

I think Rachel expected Teddy to chose her.

I only like Sharon because the other women seem to like her and find her supportive. I absolutely can't stand Chloe, Lucinda and Millie - they're like the mean girls from high school who have banded together to make everyone else feel excluded. Faye seems like a nice person but is just really annoying. Liberty is OK. Kaz is lovely but it's painful to watch the fact that none of the boys seem interested in her.

As far as the boys are concerned, I can't even imagine myself fancying any of them although Hugo seems like a good person and Aaron might be OK. None of them even holds a candle to someone like Ovie, for example.

But the main problem is there's such a huge lack of personality in this year's cast. Last year not everyone was nice but at least they were mostly interesting!

I think Lucinda chose Brad because she is very young (and seems quite immature for even her young age) and she didn't give a thought to he might still be available because he's boring as fuck, she was just smitten by his looks. And that's what you get when you put a big group of looks-obsessed inexperienced young people in a house together. It's all immensely shallow. And that's why most of us older folks on this thread watch it - with a sort of grim fascination.
