I took against Brad when he waxed lyrical about Rachel being the one he'd been waiting for, then immediately did the same with Lucinda a couple of days later. Also found him a bit wooden and dull, but I totally concede that could be editing. The Islanders seemed to like him so we probably haven't seen the right side.
I do think more of him after tonight. There was no way Lucinda was going, though! It's good she wants to model as acting isn't really her forte!
And Toby is digging his own grave deeper and deeper!
As for Faye- what? Did that really warrant all the drama (again )? I did think the remark about Lucinda staying in to enhance her "opportunities" was a bit crass, as obviously we're meant to believe they are only in there to find true love, but her overreaction was weird!

What's going in with Chloes accent? She's clearly 'well spoken' but keeps slipping into glottal stop when she speaks to Essex Minds and Toby. It's like she's imitating them to fit in better . So weird. Has anyone else noticed it?

I reckon a new fella will be in within the next day or two who will choose Lucinda for a date and she will couple up with him pretty quickly

I'm a bit of a chameleon when it comes to be around people with other accents unfortunately, I can't help it, just happens!

Omg yes!! I though this the other night!!

Ah ha just read.posts and seen that I'm clearly bor the only one thinking Chloe accent is weird. I am from Oxford and not very one is 'posh' sounding but it does seem that hers is very pit on. They're only allowed a limited amount to drink too so I think the drunk girl in the loos is also put on. I really like her but think she's playing a game and everything she does is quite carefully considered. Like when she made a group with Lucinda and Mindy, she kept calling them the naughty girls (sorry, I mean, the naugh'y girls) that's like psychology 101 for making a friendship group, to define yourselves as separate from the others with a commonality/shared characteristic.

And there goes my chance to do the dishwasher in the ad break...

I'm really not sure how people are only realising that he's a good lad now and thinking that the editing has been unkind. He has been LOVELY. He made all the early coffees and has been nothing short of a good boy all round. A great friend to all the lads. But some folk have judged him for his accent and not quite knowing how to talk to girls. So his only crime is being himself?

I've agreed with everything you've said on the thread, I'm a big fan of Brad, but I am struggling to work out how you've come to the conclusion that he's been judged for his accent?

Was that all one task, how did the boys win i thought it was one each?
