Djok is just so good over 5 sets.

Fingers crossed for Italy on Sunday then Raahh
(I'm so fed up with the fecking football, I actually want Italy to win It will be unbearable otherwise. We'd never hear the end of an England win )

DD2 got the 'come in late if you want and discuss the national anthem' e-mail from school . She doesn't care about football. DD1 is already off isolating anyway.

I mean , no-one ever let me go into work late in the years when I was hungover on Pimms from watching Wimbledon, ffs. .

Years ago, I think the World Cup was on at the same time as Wimbledon. At work, rooms were set aside with tvs in for people to watch the football and not do any work for a couple of hours.
Did they do the same for tennis fans for Wimbledon? Of course not. And it when Tim was in his prime

I have already been told dh is watching the tv on Sunday night .(We only have the one). I'm not expecting the tennis final to be as long as the 2019 one- but even so. .

Poor Shapo, he deserved to win. I suspect Djoko will win on Sunday.

Djok's greater experience was the difference today. I don't know if there will be as big a gulf with Berrettini. He seems to stay calm no matter the circumstances, granted I've not seen that many of his matches.

Ahh, I just want England to win it for my late dad and my brother !

I called in sick to work for the epic Rafter v Ivanisevic Monday final all those years ago. Was so worth it.

The following year, when it was the Wimbledon final, I was a few months pg with ds and felt quite sick. I really liked Hewitt, but it wasn't the most exciting final- and I fell asleep asleep in the middle ( I had gone round to my mum's house to watch it).
