Warning for those with Now TV Subs

In the next week or so, the number of simultaneous streams allowed is being dropped to just one. So if you have multi TVs only one can watch Now TV at a time.

You can expand this by subscribing to their Boost package but the price of this is going up at the same time.

Might be ok for some but might cause problems for others?

Bump

Thanks for this. What a rip-off!

So you can have it on different devices, but only one can be used at a time? They are obviously trying to push people into paying for the Boost package.

What a contrast to Netflix, their deal is much fairer (and the software far superior).

Yep. I only found out by accident - having been a subscriber. They haven't done much to warn people about the upcoming change so I thought I'd mention it here just in case anyone else has missed the memo (turn of phrase - there was no memo).

Thanks for this. Annoying as I've literally just set my mums tv up with my account so she can watch mare of East town!

Pemba · 24/06/2021 19:37

But if I understand correctly, your mum would still be able to watch, so long as you weren't watching at the same time. Did I get that correct, Douchebaggette ?

Not that we share all our subscriptions with DD and her partner, of course not.

Douchebaggette · 24/06/2021 20:05

I think so @Pemba - it's simultaneous streams that are limited to just 1.

So, in this house we have two living rooms and often are watching different things at the same time. So pretty annoying for us.

@Pemba yes, but dm has recently discovered the joy of binge watching, she will find lots to watch. Dd at uni also has a login.
We'll just have to see how if works out in practice!
