Just reading this about the improved support contestants will be receiving - counselling sessions and social media support. Love Island: ITV announces new contestant welfare measures

I don't get why Hugo isn't popular...ge's attractive and has a decent personality. I don't think younger women like "nice" guys.

Hugo probably doesn't appeal to the fake tits/lips/top of slap who want someone who could work the insta/celebrity lifestyle. Hugo is clever, modest and decent.

Feel quite sorry for the lads this time, a lot of the girls seem to really love themselves and are really shallow this time. Most of them don't seem particularly likeable or friendly.

I don’t get it either! He’s sweet, good looking, nice body but not overly buff, reasonably intelligent and presumably likes kids... what’s not to like?

Wonder if this will be the first year all original girls are dumped? As, like you're all saying they're not great are they? Very much lacking any charisma. The boys do seem better. Except Jake, he gives me bad vibes.

Hugo is the type of man who your parents would love you to take home but he doesn't necessarily get you going so to speak I'm rooting for him though!

Faye’s lips are ridiculous. Do men really find that attractive? It’s borderline freaky.

I think the lip fillers are popular because that's what men find attractive. And I think it's part of the porn-influenced look.

I think there's some merit in Hugo not being popular because he's not what the influencer circuit is going to pay for post-show.

I think they are all much of a muchness. I don't see any great sex divide (remember - sex, not gender 👊).

Men obviously do find it attractive despite what people think. Quite a few of them picked Faye

I’d pick Hugo without a shadow of a doubt. Nice, attractive, no tattoos, not too muscly. I’m a middle aged woman though so clearly it’s not what the kids want!

Haha very true! it’s from celebs go dating when Pete was on it (can you tell I love a bit of trash?) I’d love Rob Beckett as voiceover on love island!

Yep. Men are so shallow. And a number of the women on Love Island are the same way, what with only finding men with huge muscles worthy of attention.
