Just reading this about the improved support contestants will be receiving - counselling sessions and social media support. Love Island: ITV announces new contestant welfare measures

I’m baffled by the most popular ones … Faye getting the most picks at the start and Chloe described as ‘stunning’ - to me they’re the two least attractive! I think Sharon and Shannon are pretty and slightly less ‘fake’ looking. Kaz is attractive too.

Also think Hugo is really cute and don’t understand why they’re all dismissive of him - is it cos he’s not as ‘buff’ / blokey as the others? Aaron is gorgeous too and Brad is good looking but in quite a generic way. They never seem to go for the guys who are quieter / less Insta like …

They’re an odd mix this year - normally the first lot seem to be all really good looking. There doesn’t seem much spark between anyone yet either - usually at least one couple seem really keen from the outset.

I want Hugo and Liberty to partner up

Love Island feels really dated. Esp after nearly 2 year break.
They should change things up more.

Thank you to the person who said Faye looks like Lydia from Towie. That’s who I’ve been thinking of! It’s the eyes too, she looks like she might be a bit cross-eyed.

Not one of them has a personality at all. It's quite unnerving to see actually. Social media really dictates these young ones to a point where they have nothing to offer at all.

And Faye? Surely her dad's a producer or something.

None of them are attractive except Kaz and Shannon.

Two years to cast this and its possibly the worst people I've ever seen on any series. I was bored last night.

Oh dear that cliff hanger was annoying!

I think Chloe will pick Aaron and I think he'd be quite happy with that as Shannon has decided from 10 minutes in that she could do better. I think she has the most superior attitude of them all actually, more so than Sharon. She turned her face away from whoever was moving in for a kiss in the game (can't remember who - was it Aaron?).

I don't think it would be a great loss if she had to leave. She's got no more personality than any of them.

@Chicchicchicchiclana I agree with you ref Shannon. She appears to have a chip on her shoulder and a superiority complex. Has she forgotten where she is?! It annoys me when you get contestants that act like it’s all beneath them, like it wasn’t then that applied to be on the show! It was Toby she did a swerve with when he tried to kiss her.

Shannon, Kaz and Sharon are natural beauties. With all the other girls, fillers and contouring are doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

@SeeYouInFive Sharon looks more natural than some but I think she's had work done too, surely those lips are fillers? I think dark hair can go a long way to making people look more natural.

The voice frying is driving me mad. I can't tune it out.

Catching up on last nights episode. I agree with all pp about chloes voice, but what is 'voice fry/frying'?! Never heard of that phrase before!

Faye looks so different without makeup on - I think it's really telling when someone looks the same or cuter minus the slap - Shannon and Kaz are genuinely stunning and Liberty actually looks better without all the makeup. Can't get over her lips - never seen good lip fillers before but hers are just awful, she would look so much better au natural!

None of the boys have grabbed me this year so far, a bit dull at the moment. I'm waiting for an Ovie or Chris moment...

Beauty is a subjective thing. I would rate Faye as the best looking woman in the house

I hadn't seen but just had a google, doesn't surprise me!

I have, but it’s what I was expecting to happen anyway so didn’t spoil much for me!

I don’t think any of them are stunning. I think that Kaz has a pretty face and Shannon has a good body. Liberty is pretty without the slap.
Sharon is quite attractive. Faye is not attractive neither is Chloe
Aaron is not attractive despite being a model. Brad is attractive but in a generic way.
Hugo is cute . That’s about it

I agree that if you actually look at Chloe's features she's really unattractive - all she has is surgery and a decent bod (and is young). Faye is slightly better looking but quite generic. Liberty - if you just look at her face on her own, same thing. Just not that pretty. Kaz, Sharon and Shannon are much better looking but for some reason the blondes seem to get all the attention.

I like Aaron but his chest freaks me out. He's too buff and looks like he has boobs.

Kind of fancy Brad but those white white teeth are so offputting. How can you respect a man who wants to walk around with white teeth like that? It's embarrassing.
